Calling all my mamas, soon-to-be mamas, and snack lovers! If you’re on the lookout for a wholesome and tasty pick-me-up, look no further.

Introducing my No-Bake Energy Bites – not just a snack, but a little burst of yum for all you nursing moms out there. Packed with good stuff like oats, flaxseed, and brewer’s yeast, these bites are here to give you a snack that is both delicious and nutritious. Brewer’s yeast is a rich source of minerals — particularly selenium; protein; B vitamins, and chromium which are essential for optimal milk production in lactating women.

Whether you’re navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood or just in need of a treat, you won’t want to skip on trying these simple yet delightful bites that’ll have you reaching for seconds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup brewer’s yeast
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (such as almond butter or peanut butter)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)

Instructions:

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, ground flaxseed, brewer’s yeast, and ground cinnamon. Most of these ingredients are believed to help boost milk production.

  • Add Wet Ingredients: Add nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

  • Fold in Extras: If you use chocolate chips or chopped nuts, fold them into the mixture. These ingredients add flavor and texture to the bites.

  • Shape into Bites: Roll small portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls. You can make them as big or as small as you prefer. Don’t forget to sneak in a bite or two… I mean *someone* needs to taste test it. 😉

  • Store: Place the bites on a parchment-lined tray or plate and refrigerate for at least an hour before transferring them to an airtight container. Store them in the refrigerator for a longer shelf life.

Are you looking to make a few tasty snacks ahead of the baby’s arrival? Be sure to bake a loaf of my banana bread and throw it in the freezer so you can have it on hand whenever the banana bread urge strikes.

Hi, I'm Chloe.
The girl on the other side of this blog.

I'm a wife, proud mom to my Ruby Rose, and a sunny resident of Carlsbad, CA. When I'm not busy chasing the joys of motherhood, you'll find me in the company of my loyal sidekick, Ollie – my English Cream Golden Retriever, who has his own special spot in my heart. After countless friends and family members kept asking me where I got that unique piece or awesome dupe, I had a lightbulb moment – why not share all these discoveries with the world? That's how this blog came to life, where I spill on my latest finds and experiences as a new mom to inspire, connect, and make your life easier.
